In addition to flipping the calendar, MLS is apparently planning to move to five divisions so you’d play your own division twice (10 games) and the other 24 teams once. Playoffs would be determined by a single table.
MLS owners are *expected* to vote on flipping to fall-spring calendar at Thursday's BOG meeting. Changes to competition format also expected.
Let's see if it actually comes to a vote, but implications are enormous.
