Let me explain what you see.

It is a traditional Ukrainian pavuk (spider) – a Christmas-season decoration made of straw and hung from the ceiling.

Shaped like a light floating sculpture,
the pavuk was believed to keep the home in balance, absorb anything negative, and bring harmony to the family

Something I have to reiterate is that you are being straight up lied to about trans people and our healthcare on an unfathomable scale, this instance reporting is already being torn to shreds by other people commenting, but the frequency of this kind of reporting is astonishing, it's neverending.
You might think from the headline that this is a story about a trans kid suffering medical consequences from a large drug dose but nope! It is just an interview with an estranged father who is angry that his child happily transitioned.

Trans+ people of Bluesky, I need your help.

Has anyone got good photography from the Trans+ protests earlier this year where people protested topless?

I’d like to include this in the @transhistoryweek.com workbook next to our story published before about the topless protests in 1970s Milan
Tops off: The public pool protest changed Trans+ rights in Italy
One summer in Milan, a group of trans women's topless protest was a spark to a broader movement in Italy that changed Trans+ rights across the country

The Green Party yet again proving to not only be the best party on trans issues in the UK, but the only one that's actually good on our rights

I can't tell you how happy I am @zackpolanski.bsky.social won party leadership back in September
Green Party Conference recently passed some amazing healthcare policy for the trans community. It commits us to an informed consent model of trans healthcare, a trans-led public inquiry into NHS care, a trans-inclusive ban on conversion therapy, and so much more.

Fuck the herald (even if they have good people working for them)
🏳️‍⚧️ Last night, as vigils marking Trans Day Of Remembrance were held across Scotland, The Herald gave an award to For Women Scotland naming them Campaigners of the Year.

These awards were sponsored by ScottishPower, a company who regularly champions diversity.

Can @zackpolanski.bsky.social please explain why he has not yet met with the parents of the Sussex ICB scandal? The children are being tortured by NHSE. Please explain why this issue is not a matter of urgency? They have been trying for weeks now and you still have not responded.

Please share.

The level of child abuse I've been reporting on from the Sussex ICB scandal has deeply traumatised me. I'm taking the weekend off from reporting to recover.

I feel sick to my very core.

💡I got heating in my flat today for the 1st time (in central Kyiv).

Scheduled power outages (deep gratitude to repair workers!) mean we have electricity only a few hours a day. It is bad, but still enough to charge all devices & keep on working despite it all.

Hopefully we will get through this.

This Trans Day of Remembrance, my heart hurts thinking of all the people we couldn't carry through to the other side of this moment in history.

Amidst all the fighting we've done for our community, amidst the unshakeable belief that we will win in the end, grief still takes hold.

Its sexism as its enforced femininity
Its racism as black women are more likely face this discrimination
Its homophobia, because, butch lesbians?
Its ableism, as a lot of disabled people get targeted for not looking feminine enough
