The call is coming from inside the house...
DC Power of the Gainbridge Super League have extended an offer for free agent Trinity Rodman that the NWSL can't currently match due to the salary cap.

Jessica Berman: "We want Trinity in the NWSL and we will fight for her."

Trinity Rodman participated in warmups with the other Spirit bench players ahead of today’s semifinal. (She didn’t last week.) She has the ball on the far touchline here.

A stunner as it is the same starting 11 from its quarterfinal win, a rarity for Washington.

Tara McKeown is a true iron woman, starting after she went down with an ankle injury last week. .

Trinity Rodman starts on the bench in what could be her final home match in D.C.

37.5% - In penalty shootouts in all competitions for #NWSL teams, Aubrey Kingsbury has saved 37.5% of the on-target penalties she has faced (9/24). All other goalkeepers have combined to save just 17.2% (20/116). Different.

D.C. United has done it! They've secured the Wooden Spoon as the worst team in MLS in 2025!

This is a trophy secured by a club culture set from the top down.

With the entire scouting department let go by a new Managing Director, we may be witnessing a true dynasty forming in D.C.

An incredible Decision Day race I didn't notice until reminded by Vikas in the @soccerwisehq.bsky.social discord:

D.C. United (29 total team goals in 33 matches) vs. Lionel Messi (26 individual goals in 27).

Coming down to the wire, folks. Messi has outside chance of chasing down D.C. United

Cavan Sullivan is going to the Under-17 World Cup.

That’s a big call by the Union with Quinn out injured.

Four Union players on the squad overall, with Sullivan the only current pro.

MLS clubs — EASILY — spent more money on transfer fees during the 2025 season (winter + summer windows) than ever before.

$336m in total fees, with the league-record fee being broken three times this year.

First, great to see @stevengoff.bsky.social tipping his toe back into the scene.

The Clark deal is now official.

Yay.

I got nothing.
CF Montréal announces it has traded midfielder Caden Clark to D.C. United for $700,000 cash, as well as a conditional $100,000, in addition to retaining percentage on player's resale value.

Clark, 22, is DCU U-22 Initiative roster spot, under contract through 2025 with options in 2026 and 2027.

The four-week MLS transfer/trade window closes today. Barring last-minute deal(s), DCU will finish with three moves yielding one young player, $125,000 GAM and a third-round draft pick — no intl signings, DP additions or major trades. Another winter rebuild under another new coach awaits.

Caden Clark arrives in D.C. ahead of D.C. United move, I'm told.

Clark didn't ask to leave MTL & was focused on Europe for next move but René Weiler wanted Clark. and D.C. got the trade done.

There was a German club interested but offer/approach never made. Could be back in Jan
Sources: D.C. United have reached an agreement in principle with CF Montréal to sign American attacker Caden Clark.

Deal will be a cash trade of around $700k, I'm told.

Clark will hit D.C.'s roster via the U-22 initiative.
🇺🇸 Sources: D.C. United are nearing a deal to acquire American attacker Caden Clark from CF Montréal but the deal is not done. @maximetruman.bsky.social 1st on talks.

Close, but no total agreement between DC/MTL just yet.
