Daikisho has extreme regeneration, to a point he physically can't be killed as long as his heart remains intact and strong. And even then, his heart isn't really a natural heart anymore, more like a catalyst that houses his aether.
The reason for this is because he's actually half-auspice.

Daikisho's first crush, in fact, was a man of the Qalli people. While he's a bit romantically dumb, there's been people across many genders he's found himself infatuated by.
