What was the damn point of the shutdown? People missed paychecks, families went without SNAP, and Democrats walked away with nothing.
This isn’t about moderates versus the far left. It’s about who’s actually fighting for people who are struggling.

The process for removing a Senate Minority leader is relatively simple in theory, and this can be done via an ordinary resolution if a majority of the party's senators are able to meet and decide on a replacement.
Every Dem Senator who complains about the cave needs to support this.

Here you go, Schumer apologists
“If Schumer really wanted to use his considerable influence and leverage to stop this, he could have done that,” a senior Democratic Senate aide tells Zeteo. “He didn’t.”
Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

Senate Dems think this is going to blow over. Durbin says we don’t understand how the Senate works. Kaine says we’re “exaggerating.”
Nope.
We understand how the Senate works. It works by people voting Senators in, and holding them accountable. And ask 20 million ACA recipients if we’re exaggerating

"The provision, tucked into a measure to fund the legislative branch, appears to immediately allow for eight GOP senators to sue over their phone records being seized in the course of the investigation by Jack Smith ... into the riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021." www.nytimes.com/2025/11/10/u...
Spending Bill Would Pave Way for Senators to Sue Over Phone Searches
Republicans have voiced outrage that Jack Smith looked at G.O.P. lawmakers’ phone records surrounding the Jan. 6 attack. Legislation to reopen the government would allow them to sue for $500,000 each.

Can someone make an AI video of Schumer flying a jet over a crowd celebrating all the Tuesday night wins, pushing a button that dumps a brown substance on them and then laughing maniacally?

It’s this simple.
If Schumer truly is a no vote, he’s failed as a leader and needs to step down.
If he’s not truly a no vote, and is using the others as camouflage, he’s a liar and he needs to step down.
Only two possibilities, both with the same conclusion.

What’s happening with Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is a really important lesson.
It is so dangerous when all we do is read a headline or, if you’re an influencer, all you do is post a headline.
There is no way a headline can capture the nuance of how to outwit her fellow justices.

No? Then don’t do Trump Stadium either.

I’m not Catholic or Christian, but this new pope reminds me that there are at least some Christians who seem to genuinely care about the stuff Jesus said. Because there are so, so many that say they do, and are absolutely craptastic humans.
The report last week identified nearly 200 ministers, church employees and volunteer leaders accused of sexually abusing more than 475 people, most of them children, over the past half-century.
Assemblies of God pastors call for change after churches fail to oust accused abusers
Ministers spoke out after an NBC News investigation revealed 50 years of abuse and cover-up allegations in the largest Pentecostal denomination.

I’m thrilled by the verdict, but I need to point out that I have absolutely, definitely been assaulted by a subway sandwich in the past.
It wasn’t necessary for it to be thrown.
