Glad the Israeli ambassador is leaving but a bit disappointed we weren’t the ones to get it done, hoping that they were being kicked and the government just offered them to save face, but I doubt it #speirgorm

Honestly lads, even though we seem to have elected FFFG again for another term, there are some decent takeaways from this election.

Sinn Fein has remained stable, labour and SD doubled their seats, PBP went up slightly in vote share,
And aontu being out only really far right party is actually not

Dublin Central 7th count #ge24

Hourigan is out and her transfers to Sherlock will determine what happens to Hutch. Hutch is considerably ahead here and it will be a shock at this stage if he fails to be elected, unfortunately. Here is hoping for a shock.

Linehan supporting the religious, anti-abortion, anti-migrant Right in #GE24 is a warning sign. Transphobia is a gateway drug.
Linehan is now further to the right than any of the three priests on Craggy Island. I can't imagine Jack, Dougal or Ted bring impressed by Aontú.

For 100 years, the Irish people have sat back and watched as a cabal of self-interested mé féiners auctioned off their country bit by bit to enrich themselves and their families. Every 5 or so years, they voted to allow this to continue. Are you going to vote for this again? #GE24

The far right thrives on fear, division, and scapegoating. We need to stand up against hate and work together to build and support our communities. Vote #1 Paul Murphy this Friday, 29 November.

the next programme for govt prioritises society over economy; people over corporations; progress over populism; positivity over division; public service over individual success.
We have a progressive electoral system that more accurately captures our preferences than a first-pass-the-post.
