My old boss would want to preview any email I wrote before I sent it. That was my first (and probably last) 9-5 and I’ve never been more miserable. Thinking about that makes holiday bar shifts go down easier. Oh well, he got fired and is now selling crypto to children.

Wondering what it’s like to have time to relax during the holidays. It’s probably our busiest season at the bar and, from an outside perspective, seems nice!

I don’t know if there’s any discernible difference between burnout and exhaustion, but school is really making me feel one or both of those.

Disappointed that the bar only played “All I Want for Christmas is You” ten times before Thanksgiving. Last year we got it up to the 40’s. We must do better.

Every year, I forget what a delightful sensory overload RRR truly is. I’ve been listening to the soundtrack before tests for two years now and it’s so great to come back to the source material.
