*The catch is I was playing on an emulator which means I had access to a fast forward button, and trust me I used it heavily. There are a couple spots where you do just have to grind and I can imagine on original hardware it’d be a bit of a pain. Also the random encounters are a bit much imo

The original Dragon Quest! This is gonna sound insane because the game is very simple, but this might be one of the most engaging rpg’s I’ve ever played. Every trek into the unknown feels like a genuine adventure, never sure what you’ll find, and for the nes secrets were very fair!*

The reception of the halo remake so far has been fascinating to me, because I can't remember the last time somthing was genuinely this polarizing among the fan base just on announcement. I actually can't tell if more people are excited for it or angry about it.

This is an interesting change, because on one hand the needler is the one gun in all of existence that realistically shouldn't need an ammo counter
but on the other hand making every gun in the game look like it's from dead space is really funny, and I support them in their decision.

Putting an ammo count screen on the needler is a choice.
