If I wanted to share some of my writing for my OCs, what's the best way to do it, because currently I have discord screenshots 🥰 and they're not pretty 🥰

Four little snippets, because this is the best I've got for now 🥰🥰🥰
The moment the daily briefing is out, they're scrambling out of their seats as though they stand a chance of taking off before their scheduled time, bumping shoulders as they pass through the locker room to get kitted out. They're the only two of the squad on the roster today, but they still share the space as they get ready, and Davey is bent over to adjust the leg of his anti-g trousers when he hears Aled giggle above him. Tugging the zipper up to the top, he straightens up and locks his gaze on where Aled seems to be barely keeping it together, the grin wide on his face, and Davey can feel the giddiness like it's contagious. "What?" "Nothing,"' Aled says, but instinctively reassures him. "Really. I'm just well excited for it. I've not done 1v1 with any of the squad yet." "Never seen someone so happy to get their ass handed to them," Davey replies, a laugh on his lips as he teases the younger pilot. "Oh, that's how it is, is it? I'l have you know I've been studying all of yours' flight patterns, waiting for this. I've got no intentions of letting you win." "Woah, hey. Careful, mate-yeah no, he just woke up, he's moving about-yeah-sure, yeah-hey, mate, can you hear me?" Cav nods, arm staying in place even as he does, taking account of the whole situation. "Can you understand me?" "Yeah," he mutters before repeating it more loudly. "I understand. And I'm breathing fine, and I can move, and I'm awake." It comes out with a bit more bite than intended, and he huffs before lifting his arm just enough to peer up at the blurry man above him, silhouetted by the clouds. "-yeah, he's breathing and talking and responding-can do-do you know your name?" "Cav. Jamie, prefer Cav," he answers, listening as the man repeats it down the phone and waits a beat before asking if he remembers what happened. "Some bellend side swiped me and-fuck, Davey?" "Table. Your sofa is a little too soft for my liking." It's a firm cushion but she needs more support than a sofa nowadays. He ushers her through into the kitchen then, pulling a chair out for her before going to grab three mugs and put the kettle on, and he can feel her eyes burning a hole in his. back as he does. "So there is someone else here," she states, quite proud of herself for figuring it out, and Cav just laughs, leaning back against the counter while he waits for the water to boil. "Will I be seeing much of her?" "Aled's here," Cav replies with a smile. "Ah, the little Welsh boy." (edited) candy el vaquero "Oh, alri. And good morning to you too, Ingrid," Aled mumbles as he shuffles into the kitchen, fresh from a nap and dirty blonde hair sticking up at funny angles. He glances to the clock on the wall, his nose crinkling at the time. "Or good afternoon, I guess. What's brought you up here?" 'And I am not frightened of dying. Any time will do, I don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying? There's no reason for it you've got to go sometime.' He does wonder whether Leo would be mad at him, briefly, but how could he ever know? Besides, it's heroic, right? No, Leo would be furious. Fuck. He isn't soared of death, but he isn't scared of the men approaching him either, hesitant enough that he knows he has time to run, plenty of cover and the dog barking to throw them off just long enough to get him a headstart. All he has to do is keep them away from the car and divert them for a few minutes at most--a long, seemingly never-ending few minutes, but that's all. Their guns are trained on him for as long as they can see him, but they won't bother to hunt him, another nameless face among many. candy el vaquero The dog behind him barks again, the ensuing growl sounding closer than it was a moment ago and he drops his gaze for a single second to see it, and the stalemate is broken. It lunges forwards just as the soldiers vell. and Davey drops his hands and takes off running.

It's the national year of reading in the uk in 2026. Instead of asking "why don't kids read any more", ask "how can I help them find the stories (and non fic) they will fall in love with". Less "get off my lawn whippersnappers" and more "come, sit on the lawn, here's a comic".

I didn’t make enough art for a monthly rundown, so I did a quarterly one instead! That just means that 2026 calls for more drawing, sketching, creating 🩷
