I don’t post much, but when I do it’s probably going to be about hockey (Red Wings & Hurricanes), soccer (Brighton & Gladbach), baseball (Orioles & Reds) , movies, music, and British TV shows from the 70s and 80s. Lexington/Georgetown,KY.
At least I’m a Wings fan who can only watch them on TV. I pity the people who pay good money for the in-rink experience and have to watch this continual shit show of poor fundamentals and extraordinarily low hockey IQ demonstrated by the players, coaches and front office. Fuck this shit.

#OnThisDay in 1988, MST3K premiered on Minneapolis UHF station KTMA-TV! 🤖📷Before Comedy Central, Turkey Day marathons, or “Movie Sign!”, it was just Joel, some homemade robots & a terrible movie on a shoestring budget.

There is a post circulating on Bluesky encouraging the moving of a frozen turkey straight into a pot of hot oil. We are combating this misinformation the best way we know how - through the power of dance music.

For @the-ringer.bsky.social, I wrote a big thing about Robbie Robertson's new memoir, which focuses on his friendship with Martin Scorsese in the late 70s, a topic I've long been obsessed with. Also went deeper on their overall collaboration in Hollywood and beyond. www.theringer.com/2025/11/12/p...

A new posthumous memoir by Robertson, ‘Insomnia,’ details his relationship with the director from the late 1970s until their final collaboration on ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’
