If you have ever borrowed a book, taken your kids to storytime, used a computer, picked up tax forms, enjoyed a program or othwerwise benefited from your local library, I encourage you to contact your representatives and ask that they stand up for funding for America’s libraries.

Today I’m expressing my immense gratitude for the librarian community. Whatever difficulties you may be facing - book challenges, budget cuts, burnout - no librarian fights alone. Thank you to all librarians - school, public, academic, special - for all you do for your communities. 🧡
