As scary as all of this is, I cannot stress how important the following is:

Live. Live and find happiness where you can.

Pay attention and help where you can, but don't let these terrible people occupy your mind 24/7, they don't deserve it and it's exactly what they want, you scared/unhappy.
God, this song reminds me of Steve Goodman, in the best way. Thoroughly recommend it (unless you're trump): music.youtube.com/watch?v=8q3F...

@ironspike.bsky.social Are you going to be playing the new DLC for Crusader Kings? I know you've enjoyed that game, and I saw this video and it looks like a LOT but quite fun:

That moment you realize that if the Blue Jay's manage to win the world series, a Canadian team wins. After his tantrum today, it would be delightful if Trump doesn't get to congratulate the willing team.

This is one of MANY reasons Dropout.TV is doing as well as it is.

If you're looking for REALLY entertaining content, I would thoroughly recommend checking them out. I'm a particular fan of Game Changer and their new comedy crowd work show.

First one to sign in Chicago! Trans right are human right, protect the constitution!

I'll be one of the people carrying it during the March, wearing an American flag like a cape.

Stay safe today everyone, let's get out there and let them know how we feel about this administrations actions!

Remember: stay peaceful, be smart, don't escalate.
For anyone going to No Kings, remember your rights, and remember that the Right will be looking for ANY excuse to demonize them, the less we give them the better.

Stay Peaceful, be smart, don't escalate. Let's make them grasp at straws trying to portray this as anything but what it is, Patriotic.

Tomorrow is really important, and there are a lot of roles for people to play, even people not able to go to the No Kings Protests.
Have a friend/family member going? Look up legal resources in case they're detained and offer to be their one phone call (and stay close to the phone/be reachable).

A friends sent this to me, a few things to keep in mind:
1. No mainstream media have picked this up yet, we DO NOT know how accurate this is.
2. There is a VERY high chance this is just a scare tactic, and the Admin. leaked it themselves to shrink crowd sizes.

In preparation for this Saturday's No Kings Protest, here are some great safety tips from last No Kings Protest.
I did my best to compile as many protest safety notes as possible into a one page foldout zine! Coincidentally…it seems the file has breached containment…like it’s available for anyone to print or hand out 👀⚖️

UNTIL IT’S DONE, Ep. 4: Sylvia Rivera

In the 1970s, queer New Yorkers had been pushed to the margins of NYC. Our trans neighbors faced immense cruelty. But in Sylvia Rivera, they found a champion.

As we combat Trump’s politics of darkness, her legacy can light the path forward.

This does absolutely matter, Dick Durban was one of the Senators who last time helped break the filibuster to avoid shutdown. If you live in Illinois, make it clear what you want from your elected officials.
❗ Illinoisans, we need our Democratic senators Dick Durbin & Tammy Duckworth to HOLD THEIR GROUND. Dems must continue opposing ANY budget deal that lets Trump's healthcare cuts take effect or hands him a blank check to keep terrorizing our communities.

The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice. Except it doesn’t bend on its own—it bends because we pull it in the direction of justice. What keeps me hopeful during times like these is being surrounded by people who are doing just that.
