I used to pride myself on having a really wide friend group. Forget that. As I get older, I am focusing on having a smaller group of friends who are genuinely awesome and kind people. I am so lucky.

Have bought some pretty awesome cards recently. Still have always paid under $200 for every one. Three fun ones en route from the tobacco card era.

Random fact about me is when I worked at Brigham and Women’s 2003-2005, I also was a Spanish translator. I would accompany patients who only spoke Spanish into appointments and translate for them. I am no longer fluent but I met some amazing patients and it was a rewarding experience.

New strategy - for lawyers who cold call me for work without knowing me, and not knowing my org/what I do, I am calling you back on a weekend and asking for your pitch randomly.

Love this so much
Vice President JD Vance gets roundly booed at the opening ceremony of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympics. "Those are a lot of boos for him, whistling jeering," says the presenter. US athletes receive a warm welcome from fans, though.

Biased as a huge fan of the pod, but this may be the best one @jdotj.bsky.social and @gokp.bsky.social have done. Great episode on an important topic.

This is bonkers. MAHA 'farmers' with ecoli tainted raw milk admit they really don't know how to make the stuff after all.

Anti-2nd amendment zealot, Jeanine Pirro
Pirro: "You bring a gun into the District, you mark my words, you're going to jail. I don't care if you have a license in another district and I don't care if you're a law abiding law owner somewhere else. You bring a gun into this District, count on going to jail. And that makes all the difference"
