The DOJ's hiding of the Epstein files violates the law, both in the letter and the spirit. Deliberately. They didn't negotiate any easement.

So, who's going to jail? Who's indicted? How many subpoenas?

Or are we pretending it's not a real law? You know, like the War Powers Resolution of 1973?
December 25, 2025 at 11:57 PM
The War Powers Resolution requires Congressional approval for any armed conflict that's not a direct attack. Nigeria hasn't attacked, and Congress hasn't issued an AUMF.

So, this is a Trump crime, but it's a big one this time. I wonder if Congress will do anything.

One last note on Christmas Eve:

It's not a ballroom; It's a throne room. That's why it keeps growing.

Don't believe what Trump says on... well, anything, honestly.

Tesla cars use electricity to open the doors. Only some have manual levers. When a Tesla crashes and the power stops, maybe you get out, or maybe not. Amazingly boneheaded.

The WaPo headline won't even mention it, but sadly, these people burned to death in their Cypertruck.

Think about that.
They survived a Cybertruck crash. An inferno led to a race against time.
In at least a dozen cases since 2019, people have struggled to access or exit Teslas during life-threatening emergencies, fueling lawsuits alleging the company’s futuristic features have caused injuri...

FFS! You're my Senator. I elected you to represent my interests. Why are you telling this to *me*? I already know it's a crime if the DOJ withheld the evidence. You don't have to tell me.

What are YOU going to do? Because, so far, that sounds like 'fuck all.'

Fact-checking?

OK. So, WaPo says that Trump's intention to charge police and paramilitary forces to arrest his political opponents based on speech he doesn't like 'raises First Amendment concerns.'

'Concerns.'

How do they find the will to go to work every day?

Democrats approved the vicious Republican budget on the promise that there'd be a vote on healthcare.

Republicans just canceled that vote. So that's... nope!

Is anyone going to mention that?
December 18, 2025 at 3:23 AM
My reaction to Trump:

"Nope. Nope. Nope, nope, nope. Nope. Nope! Nope." I wasn't even through the first minute.

NBC repeated Trump's lies. Fox dropped back without comment. CBS justified the lies. NY Times never called out anything. And WaPo *amplified* his lies.

Vintage media screws up again.

He'll start a war to:

1. Distract from the Epstein Files
2. Steal oil
3. Justify emergency powers
4. Justify use of the AEA for deportation/internment
5. Help the drug lord he just pardoned

"I don't do ongoing commentary..."

Reality check: Speaker Mike Johnson doesn't hesitate to comment every time someone says crap he or his master likes. I mean, he'll mouth off so obscenely fast his tongue does a burnout slide twice around the room before he can rein it in.

What a worm.

Trump fucked underage girls; his cult shrugs. But Trump still won't release the files. So, it's worse.

Did Trump have girls killed? Did he fuck underage boys? Have them killed?

Trump doesn't get the slightest benefit of the doubt because we don't have any doubts. He's in it up to his pubes.

The National Institute of Military Justice describes how prosecuting Mark Kelly damages free speech, violates the separation of powers, and undermines the legislative branch.

They treat the administration as adults and don't pretend it's an accident. I wish more people would do that.

I know it's hard to keep up, but this deal is worse than people know. For a 25% cut, Trump just let Nvidia sell AI chips to China that're 10x more powerful than the US chips we sell them now, and 6x as fast as China's fastest chips.

We're neck-and-neck in the AI race, and Trump just sold us out.

I could be mistaken here, but I often get the sense that the lack of pushback on the Roberts Court from scientists comes from people not saying the Court is corrupt— corruptly chosen, corruptly installed, taking corrupt benefits in office.

It's so weird watching America transformed into lawless pirates led by incompetent idiots, all while one entire political party decided en masse that, even though we pay them to defend us, democracy wasn't really their core job.

The worst part? The transformation didn't take long.

So, Netflix bought Warner Bros (and HBO). My first thought? Where's the bribe? We all know that Trump and his kleptocracy need a cut to approve anything. It's just what they do.

And second, of course, it's another giant monopoly threatening to crush us. What fun.

What's the DOJ schedule? This is a massive dataset, so if the DOJ intends to meet the deadline, they have to work out the details with Congress. This is a huge job.

If the DOJ hasn't put out a plan yet, then they've already decided not to comply.

No need to wait until the last minute.

This is worth asking again: what is prison FOR? We already know jail doesn't deter criminals, so what do we want our prisons to achieve?

Rehabilitation? We're doing it wrong.

Warehousing? Again, doing it wrong.

Punishment and vengeance? Doing great there! The Antichrist is fuckin' proud of us.
Republicans and Democrats have long agreed on the need to help people leaving incarceration find jobs and housing so they can contribute to their communities and avoid returning to crime. The Justice Department’s grant cuts now threaten those efforts. bit.ly/3KpuBYb

Hey, @democrats.org! Are you for or against accountability? If you're for it, how? Corrupted institutions can't investigate themselves, and the volume overwhelms existing resources.
