Hey bluesky! For those that don't know me I run a service called XLink Kai. Its software running on your PC to allow LAN play over the internet for 14 different game consoles and over 1300 games for free. Check out the supported games list :) Have fun!

I dump my downloads drive to tape every few months to free up space. Don't get into tape, its a slippery slope to even more hoarding D:

I just saw this instagram post from the incredibly talented and breathtakingly hilarious Kate Welch, who was laid off around a year ago, and I wanted to share it here. It’s an important message, and you deserve to read it:

As someone going through the process of getting sleep apnea treatment and getting a very severe diagnosis... the difference will be dramatic. I've had multiple family members receive treatment and the difference in their ability to function is night and day.

Repaired and installed a necessary kitchen appliance today. (Full tube swap) Have a pi hooked up that shuffles a playlist of curated cartoon shows.

Team XLink's software dev infrastructure has gotten ridiculous over the years with 20+ build machines and dozens of CI pipelines. We're cleaning up before our next XLink Kai release but oh man its a mess 😱

MS had better not get any bright ideas about API depreciation though. If they touch xp-era win32 stuff again I'm going to start a riot

If you're still using Twitter/X in any capacity get the fuck off now. Cut ties entirely. Any following you have is not worth it. For any reason.
Every piece of reporting I've seen on this is drastically understating the scale. These are from Grok's replies within a single minute. Time-to-reply is degrading because it has such a backlog of NCII/CSAM requests to fulfill. Conservatively I estimate it is producing more than 5000 of these per day

Happy New Year!

To go with the recent Hardware update, I have an update from the OpenXHD firmware dev team for you.

Thank you Clegg and everyone else on the dev team for your hard work!

I also spent the last week reorganizing some hardware for an easier to hand assemble layout for the new board.
