the thing about Street Fighter Alpha 3's scoring system is that the TIME bonus (how fast you win) is a multiplier to your score that starts at x10 if you win in less than ten seconds, and is already down to x5 at fifteen, which is such a huge swing that the rest barely matters
one of these days, I'd like to learn *how* SFA3's scoring system actually works...some of it is obvious (KOing opponents quickly and while taking less damage is good), some is not (the game also tracks your longest combo and whether the final blow was a normal/special/super move, do those matter?)

In Mario Party, landing on a Bowser Space while having no coins or stars normally results in Bowser taking pity on the players' bad fortune and giving them free coins instead. However, there has sadly been a trend of Bowser becoming steadily less compassionate over time, as shown by this graph.

In 2023, I posted about a bizarre Dolce & Gabbana shirt featuring Mario standing in a beam of light alongside text praising him. I have tracked down the source of the image, which was a splash page in the E3 2000 brochure. Now the venerated Mario can be seen in high quality.
