East Border Region Ltd held its Annual General Meeting today - the local authority cross-border network celebrates its 50th year in 2026. Focus on a PEACEPLUS Change Maker, & outgoing Chair Alderman Alan McDowell has congratulated incoming Chair Cllr PJ O’Hanlon & Vice Chairman Cllr Tim McClelland.
Louth County Council welcomed the #Swiss Ambassador, her Excellency Jenny Piaget, to Louth this week. Ms Piaget was greeted by Chief Executive, David Conway, and was given a presentation by members of the executive on the council’s work and the major development prospects emerging across the region.
