Pretty sure my first film was the same venue, different name. An underage teen watching an 18R movie, "Carrie" 1976.
It opened in 1936 as The Savoy, single screen with 2300 seats. Became the ABC 1958 and then Cannon 1986 with 3 screens.
Later years with changing demographics became a Bollywood cine

In the Trophy we make the long journey to Thornton Heath to play Stormzy and Zaha's Croydon Athletic.
In the FA Cup we welcome Chipstead who we thrashed 7-0 and 4-0 last season.
