Glad to have commented this fantastic and remarkable achievement in @theguardian.com. Amazing proof of principle demonstrating that CRISPR-Cas can be applied to treat devastating human diseases. Still work to do to bring the technology in an efficient manner to everyone that needs it. Hopefulness!

I can not be prouder of Luis. He has been absolutely essential for our science and has been a fantastic researcher, wonderful colleague and definitely a role model in the lab. Thanks Luis for sharing these years with us!
