I’m in Alabama, 17 years old, and my library card got shut down. My mom had to go and add it to hers, and say what level of books I was allowed to read. I just did it myself but seriously, that’s insane.

Mine got shut down because I’m 17 in Alabama. My parents have to physically change my access level before I can check out books again. Mind you I literally drive there. I can work a full time job, drive to the library, and be denied checking out a knitting book.

People don’t realize how dangerous it can be to pass (especially as a trans woman) and then have your ID show a different gender. Like accusations of identity theft dangerous. It makes travel difficult and basic medical care way more invasive than necessary. So happy to see gov protecting trans ppl!
Very proud to announce the Department of Health will now process all requests to change gender designation on birth certificates within three business days. Previously, there was as much as a 10 month wait.

I thought I would get this, I was heart broken when I was a month in with zero difference. Went back and yeah. Got diagnosed with narcolepsy as well. I love my cpap tho, it’s wonderful waking up without a pounding headache and inertia!

You can use sink water with it, the hard minerals can’t be inhaled via vapor and it’s really just about preserving the machines inner workings (which! You can take out and clean). I always request distilled water at hotels/cruises but it makes no difference short term lol.
