If you have to ask me one of my favorite Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ episode, I would choose Season 2 Episode 5 because that episode was such an eye opener to me and reality.

It made me appreciate both Yuna and Mikoto more.

Robotomy (2010)
Robotomy (2010) They named a show aired on Cartoon Network after the concept of a Lobotomy. Let that sink in and sit in your couch for 12 hours doing nothing. This series was pitched as a bridge program between CN and [AS] aimed to be aired late night near the switch, which sounds like a good idea, but then you might end up with a wierd thing that might not appeal to anyone at all. Fortuntately I think that both demographics of kids and adults could enjoy this... UNfortunately there was another show who did the same as Lobotomy but appealed to more people: Regular Show. As a big Regular Show fan, I can see why that one stuck longer but I wouldn't be against the concept of Robotomy getting more episodes in another timeline ethier. The two leading soon-to-be pieces of scrap, Blastus and Trasher, have a way healthier relationship than most CN duos actually, which contrasts heavily to their battle torn world and the cast of characters that inhabit it. They have mutual respect while trying to steer eachother from potential danger when possible. Blastus is opportunistic while Trasher is more level-headed but they both can sometimes lean too far into oncoming disaster sometimes. One of my favorite scenes is Blastus teasing Trasher with the diary of the chick she's in love with, only for Trasher to succumb to the pressure and see it's just a cookbook. Blastus says it's to test his integrity. (1/2) (2/2) The show is filled with gruesome clanker violence bolstered by it's sketchbook-like artstyle. Intro consists entirely of reused animation loops organized in a way to sell you how bananas the show can get sometimes. The little details like when they cry, you can see that they also drop little bolts and screws. Love that shit. What I love slightly less is the side cast. For this begin Season 1, they get shockingly little attention even on episodes supposedly starring them. I wanted to see more of that cool rich robot and his stupid ignorant family besides the first episode and that one where he believes he's a ghost. The one that they gave the most protagonism (That one with the big hand) is the most whatever like why HIM??? But the episodic foes the main duo faces are constantly the best part of this show. Shout out to Hug Me Psycho, voiced by Gillbert Gottfried. In general his episode was the one that proved best what this show can do. Be funny and full of personality while also having every single member of the cast be a Kenny. Rating: 4 Upgrades out of 6.

Goosebumps (2015)
Goosebumps (2015) (Slappy the puppet killed the guy who was in charge of the spoiler warning section) The life of a critic is rough, but the life of R.L Stine as he is portrayed in this movie is like actual hell. So you tell me he has all these very powerful monsters that he created because he was allergic to most things as a child. If I was interested in writtng while I was a kid whose lungs were permanently damaged by inhaling smoke from cigarrettes, I would have made some nasty stuff looking back. Think I just watched this film because of Post-Halloween coping syndrome. I remember seeing a trailer for this film before the cinematic classic "Hotel Transylvania 2" ten years ago, and i'm now just getting around to watching it full. Funny looking back at how Sony Pictures Animation's biggest achivement prior to Spiderverse was releasing two solid halloween flicks in the same timeframe. Geesestumps follows an average kid who no one understands. Zach Cooper, as he accidentally messes up with proffesional audiophile, R.L Stine's original manuscripts of the Goosebumps novels. Now he has to put a stop to it alongside her girlfriend who is secretly a ghost? (Never knew what monster she was supposed to be) and Champ, who is voiced by Finn Adventure Time's VA in the spanish dub. (1/2) (2/2) It's a very standard fare for halloween about monsters coming to life. Of course a Grouseicks movie would focus on the more standard looking monsters like the Pasadena one or a bad CG werewolf. And of course Slappy because he's motherfucking Slappy the puppet. My first issue is that there's several moments where I (a dumbass) was actively saying "Why didn't he do that?" or "Why did he do that???". There's a scene where Slappy faces R.L and he just tries awkwardly to distract him to grab the book which eventually exposes him. There's a couple of infurating details like that. Props for Jack Black's acting portrayal of R.L with that stare that only a clean shaved Jack could give. When he gets pissed off by comparisons to Steve King, I felt it. My other complaint is that the movie lacks clear focus regarding character development. Most of it ethier gets dropped and returns in scenes near the end or never gets properly explained at all. The only concise arcs are Zach wanting to have relationships with a ghost, and R.L becoming less of a shut in. There's also some less than ideal CG visuals regarding the Werewolf specifically but also some others I noticed. Overall a fun time. Would have liked it more if I watched it ten years earlier through. Rating: 3 Freeze Ray attacks out of 6.
