(Redone from February 2025)

Genuinely one of the top predatory marine reptiles of the Western Interior Seaway, and rightfully so thanks to their streamlined body and shark-like paddle tail.

A male Hoffman's mosasaurus, spending its time in a colorful coral reef somewhere in the oceans of what's now the Western Interior Seaway. Commonly mistaken as aquatic dinosaurs, these aquatic lizards are related to monitor lizards and snakes, hence their resemblance to the modern Komodo dragon along with a forked tongue kept inside their jaws, containing rows of pterygoid teeth to help bite their prey into pieces. They also possessed a shark like paddle tail fo help them boost in the water making them effective hunters. Another male mosasaur is in the background, perhaps as a rival to his own kind, while various fish swim in around in the reef, avoiding becoming food for the mosasaurs. (Based from a 3D paleoart of SergestusZ, with the likes of Prehistoric Planet for the background)
