Xero makes amazing things, art pieces, game prompts, 3D designs, and so much more. Going free is a huge win for the community, but as he said, a big risk.

Take a minute and scope out what's on Patreon, or his profile, and please consider bumping that tier or dropping a Ko-Fi if you can manage it
Big News: It's a gamble, but I want my work to do more good. Everything I create going forward for the next year will be available to EVERYONE, regardless of support.

Yeah. Free. Read on here, and consider joining up! www.patreon.com/posts/more-j...

This is a thing of beauty.
I never posted this Dnd Beyond comic last year - there's no actual joke to it, it was more just a funny drawing. "Hew Maan" was always one of my favorite characters in Idle Champions.

Not feeling great, and missing a couple days. Here's my take on #FalshFicFeb prompt #5: "Someone notices a detail everyone else can't—or won't-—see."

If anyone is in the market for some bits & artsy bobs, come on down and check out the shop space at my Ko-Fi.

Cheers!

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...
Gladys Mae West obituary: mathematician who pioneered GPS technology
She made key contributions to US cold-war science despite facing huge barriers as a Black woman.

Okay.
I am going to say this, and use small words, so as to not get it twisted:

Dear AI proponents,

95% of everything I do art wise I learned online, for free, and then practiced. I'm neither rich, nor well off.

If time is your only outlier, that is on you to solve, just as I had to. (1)

“major reforms”?!
How about just “unwilling to fund the Department of Homeland Security.” Period.
I’m tired of Dems trying to find a middle ground. No such thing when it comes to current administration.

Update: Senate Democrats say they are unwilling to fund the Department of Homeland Security without major reforms, raising the likelihood of a partial government shutdown at the end of this week.

My heart is breaking for this country and the people of Minnesota. ICE is the cudgel of a hateful, violent, corrupt executive branch of the federal government that cannot continue to exist. Call your Senators and tell them you’d rather see the government shut down than ICE funded.

This. Totally this.
Some folks have been dealing with threats against their lives by authorities for decades.
The rest of us have been blind and deaf.
At the end of the day, the Black Lives Matter era was about whether people should be killed in the street, and lots of people decided yeah and put those little blue flags on their cars. It spread to everyone because it stopped for no one.

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

This looks amazing!
It feels odd to share something right now, but I'm truly hoping this gives some folks out there a break from the doom. The first piece for my Dusklight Archive project is complete, titled "The Price of Reclamation."
