Fiscal rules aren't economic law—they're a political straitjacket designed by & for the rich. Labour & Tories use them to scare us into accepting poverty & privatisation. We must break these rules to invest in people, not profit. Their consensus is our crisis. #RadicalChange
Debate today with a Labour MP on the economy.

Also with a former advisor to George Osborne.

Very striking how much Labour & the Tories agree on our economic system.

Time for change. Let's make hope normal again. Enjoy! 🙌🏼👇🏼

It’s us vs them. It’s class war. Simple as.

Starmer's secret membership in the Trilateral Commission reveals his true alignment: with the transatlantic elite, not the socialist left he was elected to serve. The purge of Corbynism makes perfect sense.

Greenland proves the point: NATO's idea of "security" sacrifices local sovereignty. To expand a US base, the alliance overrides Inughuit hunting rights and sidelines Greenland's government. It doesn't work for the people it supposedly protects.
When we said NATO wasn't working we were derided.

When we said a nuclear weapons system relying on the US is dangerous we were called stupid.

The truth is the establishment are more interested in kissing US feet than keeping the UK safe.

It's time for a rethink.

How can ecology be for everyone when green choices are a luxury good? Over a third of the UK can't afford them.

The Greens' answer is to flip the script: tax extreme wealth to fund a public-led transition. The question isn't personal virtue; it's economic justice.

"The maximum time a prisoner can spend on remand is 182 days (six months). Yet Muraisi and Ahmed were arrested in November 2024, and are not due to be tried until June at the earliest, which means they will be remanded for 20 months."

Shameful.

The Palestine hunger strikers have been on hunger strike for over 60 days and are close to death.

They have not even been convicted of a crime - they are being held on remand (pre-trial) for more than twice the max time allowed, and counting…🧵

I am horrified by the murder of a woman in Minneapolis by an ICE agent.

This is what fascism looks like in real time, where a far-right government emboldens a violent death squad to terrorise communities with impunity.

Please share.. ICE THUGS shot & killed a woman in Minneapolis. Then attack citizens point blank with teargas grenades, pepper ball guns & chemical spray in the faces. Of course, Greg Bovino was in the mix. He needs to be brought up for murder charges.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Masked ICE agents, it seems, are now killing American citizens on American streets.

Any Democrat who doesn’t support abolishing ICE should be instantly primaried and run out of the party.

This is non negotiable. You cannot support the continued existence of this fascist murderous secret police.

The government said this was the year it would turn a corner.

One week into 2026, and it has already debased itself by refusing to call out blatant violations of international law.

The government isn’t turning a corner. It’s driving us headfirst into chaos, division and war.

Emily Heller, an eyewitness, is speaking out to set the record straight. Officers were screaming at Renee Nicole Good, “Move, move, move.”

So she moved, and they shot her multiple times? Then Noem and Trump branded her a domestic terrorist. Does everyone see how absolutely insane that sounds?

I’m seeing a lot of people predict that “the right wing media is going to turn this story for Trump” and “they’re going to work overtime to make America forget this” and you should tell that to all these people out there in Minnesota in fucking January. This can matter. This will matter.
A friend in Minneapolis just sent me this video. Looks like thousands have come together for a vigil after an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. This was my neighborhood for several years before coming to Portland.

It's a principled refusal to be co-opted by the establishment. It's solidarity over individual reward. It's the courage to reject a personal honor in order to amplify a collective struggle.

The Guardian's true colours on display. Happy to platform the Green leader, as abstract 'hope' in October. But the moment his politics threaten the neoliberal centre, the knives come out in December.
It's not journalism; it's policing the left for Starmer.
