If the primary goal were truly to build a broad, powerful socialist movement, the logical approach would be to encourage support for ANY viable left-wing party that aligns with one's core principles.

The BBC isn't just 'bending the knee' to Trump. It's being hijacked from within by Tory appointees like Robbie Gibb, using the U.S. pressure as a pretext for a purge. This is a ruling-class war to turn the BBC into an outright propaganda arm.

Labour are continuing to dismantle the post-war consensus, how very Thatcherite. Selling assets that can actually make local authorities money, is madness. You have to question the motives of local councillors as well!

You asked me about NI, a 2% drop maybe money in workers pockets, reduces state revenue, meaning less funding like public services (NHS), which we ALL use, especially as we age. So yes, Austerity!

And when employer NI is cut, there is no automatic mechanism that forces these savings to be passed back to workers, as higher wages. The evidence of the last decades shows that these savings are overwhelmingly captured as increased profit or distributed to shareholders.

When employer NI was raised, businesses did not absorb the cost; they passed it on through suppressed wage growth, higher prices, or increased workload.
