Both Democratic senators' and representatives' responses to trump's administration have been anemic, and ineffectual. Since the republicans quashed their attempts to impeach him, they seem afraid of being labelled as vindictive, or something. They need to change their direction quickly.

It's a sad commentary about America, and one of the reasons trump was elected, that, after all those others, it took two white people being murdered by i.c.e. before there was a major uproar.

This is how the whole trump organization works. It's set up so that the underlings are always the ones to take the hit when things go south for them. trump directs everything, yet takes responsibility for nothing.
