Thinking of Iranians in the US. Also anyone vaguely brown is going to be labeled as Iranian.

Secrets in base64 was never about "encryption" it was about encoding arbitrary data in a transport-friendly way.

Please stop perpetuating that myth.

FFS. There is no Zelensky here. This is like if Putin bought Ukraine, shredded its constitution, set up his own laws by fiat, and renamed it "Xussia." Staying isn't "resisting." It's lining his pockets. Allowing US political discourse to coalesce around a single platform was unhealthy to begin with.
So I just posted this on Twitter & asked for views on it & the BlueSky exodus? Isn’t it just ceding ground to Musk? Zelensky didn’t pack his bags & decamp to Poland. Tell me why I’m wrong.

"Why won't you debate my IDEAS?"
"Because they're bad ideas."
"But ideas should be allowed to succeed or fail on their merits."
"Yes. We heard your ideas and they had no merit. We think they're bad ideas. Your bad ideas failed."
"Ah, what I meant was, my ideas should only be allowed to succeed."
