The writers are aware that audiences are savvy enough to know Carol wouldn't be the only immune human but they want to keep the bit going so they have the others be stupid in order for the premise to "work". The only way to salvage the show would be if they're only semi immune or something #Pluribus

The second episode of #Pluribus has already ruined its intriguing premise. No immune person would behave like those idiots Carol conversed with and the guy in the stomach bile suit is a complete caricature. So committed to the "most miserable person on Earth" gag they've killed its emotional honesty

I get it … but some people don’t like to play sports or watch sports or talk about sports either … and that’s OK. Some people don’t watch or care about TV or movies. Some people never read books. I think it’s the same for any hobby or enthusiasm.

How about those of us who have played video games and aren't entertained by them? I've played video games, but they just don't do anything for me. I'm not going through an effort to get to a point where something entertains me. So don't be bummed on my behalf; it's just a medium that's not my jam.

Ubisoft doesn't get enough credit for being the most consistent AAA dev when it comes to accessibility. They still have a ways to go (not quite on the level of TLOU2) but they do put in the work. It's weird playing old AC & Far Cry games and not being greeted with the menu narrator on start-up!

It's interesting that accessibility in games used to be a point of contention, even amongst non-tourists, and now it's become this standard thing that players use to curate gameplay experiences. Games without accessibility features just feel dated by comparison now.

It's just occured to me that if KKKingdom Come Deliverance 2 wins best RPG (it's not winning GOTY so I don't need to worry about that) then Daniel Vulva and his Klan mates will have to get on stage and accept the reward. And somebody is going to have to hand it to him. 🤭

I do find it interesting that Hogwarts Legacy had journalists leaving disclaimers in their reviews regarding JKR and yet when it comes to KKKingdom Come Deliverance 2, absolute crickets despite the fact that the neo nazi gamergater was directly involved with the shepherding and making of the game...
