a bit of an update to this, i'm trying not to give attention to the project (that's basically peak streisand effect for algorithms) - i decided to send a DM on Curseforge, and the reply i got was... uh.. i mean, what do we really expect from somebody who uses gen AI to rip off an addon project?

Hi, I noticed that significant portions of your [redacted] addon (particularly the Vigor.lua) appear to closely match code from my addon Dragon Rider. This includes structure and logic that go beyond what would be expected from shared API usage, with large amounts of functionality which point to nothing and exact same specific table values that I put in, including the modelscene frames which were an addition to Dragon Rider and not a part of the previous default UI. I'd also like to note my addon's license as stated on the Curseforge platform (All Rights Reserved), and that my work has not been credited or licensed for reuse in this way. I'm asking that you remove the copied portions, or remove the project. If you'd like pointers for a library that makes use of the skyriding APIs properly, I'd suggest using LibAdvFlight, which can be freely packaged in your addon and is under the Public Domain license.
I'd prefer to resolve this directly and amicably, so please let me know how you'd like to proceed.

Thanks for reaching out and taking the time to contact me directly.
When I added the classic Vigor bar to [redacted] I was operating under the assumption that most of the structure around the Vigor functionality was based on Blizzard's built-in implementation and shared API behavior. Because of that, I misunderstood which portions of the ecosystem were common patterns versus original work. I recognize now that this was an incorrect assumption.
As of the latest release, the Vigor module in [redacted] has been fully replaced with a new implementation built with original logic and custom assets. Nothing from Dragon Rider is in the current version.
I want to make sure we keep this amicable, and I appreciate you flagging the issue to me directly so it could be addressed ASAP. Thank you also for the pointer to LibAdvFlight, I'll keep that in mind as the addon continues to evolve.
