Trump: “I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries … denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization.“

It is time to seriously consider the possibility that this failed president doesn't even know what the term "vetting" means

Last night I had to say goodbye to my furbaby, Tara, who was almost 17 years old, after she was diagnosed with liver-cancer. She crossed over the rainbow bridge peacefully.

She was mouthy. She was beloved. She will be missed terribly.

Love you Tara.

*sighs*

I thought the enshittification of BlueSky was further off. More fool me, I guess.
BlueSky is a bad site used by good people. That describes most social media sites. But BlueSky is egregiously unethical. Any of you can be disappeared for baseless reasons. I've been on social media for 17 years and never been suspended. BlueSky is the first place to do so – over Johnny Cash lyrics.

News like this does NOT help with my depression.

It also serves as yet another example of why I have tended to avoid watching new streaming series over the past 5-6 years. You get invested, and either the plug gets pulled entirely, or there's some sort of massive cast upheaval.

This is what's so aggravating — yes, it was not working in extracting a policy concession but it was working in *driving down trump's numbers and provoking GOP infighting* which is what's important if you take Dem rhetoric about the perils of MAGA remotely seriously.
weirdly honest messaging from the breakaway mod/institutionalist leaders who blew up the party strategy

they're explicitly giving up. "It wasn't working so we quit" that's the message

Ro Khanna, who has called for Chuck Schumer to be replaced, says the only reason other Democrats aren't calling for it is because it would "offend a lot of donors."

"Are we gonna be beholden to the donors that have gotten us two terms of Donald Trump, or are we gonna listen to people?"

ESPN just cooking their own asses for no reason. This is truly nuts. Trump hates sports and hates football and they put him front and center on their programming. This has zero to do with sports. If I worked for ESPN I'd be livid they're pushing Stephen A Politics and McAfee as their name brands.
Trump to Pat McAfee: "I'm only joining you because I hear you say such nice things about me. When people say nice about me, I join. When they don't say nice about me, I take a pass."

From FB by way of The Allspark:

"Trump treats Americans the way a stalker treats women. He makes a big show of how much he loves them ... until they reject, avoid, or simply disagree with them, at which point he switches to full stalker mode and tries to destroy their lives."
