I recently visited Maria in the Tacoma detention center. She is a loving mom, pays her taxes, and has no criminal history -- not even a parking ticket. She deserves to come home to her two children and her husband, who is recovering from surgery. I will not stop fighting until she is home.

I've got a voter ID proposal. How about if someone is legally registered to vote, the government has to prove they are not eligible and if the government cannot prove it by a month before Election day, it's tough shit on the government, they get to vote and it counts.
