i know it's just advertisement but it still pisses me off when tech CEOs claim AGI will solve humanity's problems with its vast intelligence. for a lot of problems we already know the solutions, what prevents them being solved is not a lack of intelligence, but that the solutions are unprofitable

I do think it's amusing that the fascism state where queer people are imprisoned, traditional gender roles are enforced and disabled people live in slums is built on a children's book that's intentionally designed for look like Harry Potter.

What a misguided and terrible ruling from the EU. They just handed people’s rights, privacy and copyrighted works away for free to a US behemoth. This also affects any company whose work is copyright dependent.
I thought the EU was better than this. Shame on them.
