It's not that important and probably doesn't really matter, but it really annoys me when people who claim to be experts on the lore of a game or show will go on youtube to talk about their topic of 'expertise' and they mispronounce the names of main characters that they have heard said out loud.

I think the best thing I heard about the new Star Trek movie being developed is that it's unrelated to other Trek series and shows.
Meaning a new crew and ship, no new character retconned into being related to a famous character, no one that we saw before for only one episode, all new.
Sounds good.

She couldn't take her eyes from the screen. She felt the emotion of the scene.

Whenever I turn on the Star Trek PlutoTV channel, which shows TNG and TOS, I always know what episode it is within 2 seconds.

In Star Trek, the Holodeck in TNG, with its black walls and yellow lined grid, seems to be a more advanced version of the technology than either DS9's multiple projectors or VOY's web of metal rods.

When I worked with Optometrists and Ophthamologists we wore scrubs. Everyone wore the same dull dark bluish or greyish scrubs.
Not me. I wore bright royal blue, bright red, and purple scrubs, with matching tzitzits.
I just had to bring some more fun and colour to a job that was mostly routine.

I have a calendar that tells me what #StarTrek episodes were first shown on that day. If I need something to put on TV while I do stuff, or to watch, I put on that day's Star Trek.
