Anytime I get to write scenes for these guys in EVA-Trek, it’s always a good time.

Hyuga & Aoba have become my Bashir & O’Brien, with a touch of Paris & Kim. Maya is always a delight in her interactions with Ritsuko & others.

There is a persistent claim that those who became Romulans abandoned Vulcan because they rejected logic. It is a comforting simplification. It allows Vulcan history to remain morally tidy. It allows the Federation to frame the Sundering as a philosophical misstep rather than a political rupture.
