I know we dunk on EA, Ubisoft and Blizzard for shitty game practices...but Nintendo is going whole hog into the anti consumer lands too, they just don't make shitty takes at gaming conventions on live mics, they just sue people in quiet and brick systems remotely.

Maybe an unpopular onion here but..seeing people boost the Stop Killing Games campaign while also getting/planing for Switch 2, you know Nintendo is fighting hard /against/ this movement and want to keep reselling you old games when they kill older systems/services right?

Someone has (rightfully) pointed out in the comments that, strictly speaking, the 'Thunder Warrior' in the short was sold originally as a marine wearing Mk 1 Thunder Armour, rather than an actual Thunder Warrior. It's only really a Thunder Warrior in retrospect.

ROMs and emulators and piracy and abandonware are great and the whole reason I was able to learn about a lot of game stuff when I was broke as shit, to say nothing of the level of access they give you to completely out of print or never printed in your region type shit.

My attempt to paint to an eavy metal standard (following Infernal Brush's tutorial). I definitely gave up/simplified areas because he has insane patience and brush control, but I feel like I learnt a lot about how to approach painting for insane detail vs painting to tabletop standard.
