I have some genetic mutation where black pepper is as spicy to me as red pepper and it’s devastating. 😭the “salt is too spicy for them” also comes for me where I live. I die a little bit every time I order “no spicy *at all*”. I feel so bad. Bless every restaurant that accommodates this. ❤️

In Buddhist thought, there's a concept called "idiot compassion." The goal is to have compassion for all beings. Compassion is always good. But "idiot compassion" is applied in harmful or enabling ways. It's engaging exactly the same way with a shark as you would with a daffodil. It's a useful term.

I would like to request some new acronyms to aid sensible discourse:

cmiiw - correct me if I’m wrong
bai - by all indications
asbe - as supported by evidence
imuo - in my uninformed opinion
