Why we must invest in a future free from forever chemicals.

Unfortunately, people still don’t realise what #HeathrowExpansion actually means. FIVE rivers will be diverted, which is unprecedented. Here’s one of them – the Colne Brook. The M25 and local roads would also be diverted.

The @envagency.bsky.social together with project partners Dacorum Borough Council and @AffinityWater restored a 450-metre stretch of the River Gade - a globally rare and valuable chalk stream - in Gadebridge Park, #HemelHempstead. Read a report here..

Since completing the Gadebridge Park restoration project a fish survey has shown positive improvements in the fish population and the results of a macrophyte survey were equally promising
