I wouldn’t say I “like” that the anti-authoritarianism of right libertarians was only ever a pose, and that “tyranny” only ever meant the welfare state, but the fact that such types should take no issue with jackbooted thugs in the streets is very much a solved mystery so it’s time to move on

Obviously he’s worse than useless and a coward but the fact that he’s acknowledging this at all is a sign the winds are shifting. His whole thing is staunchly denying any criticism of his chosen causes to the bitter end. His entire worldview is contrarianism
