When people ask me what gives me hope, my answer is simple: you do. Every person who refuses to look away. Every lawyer who files a brief. Every protester who shows up. Every voter who refuses to surrender their rights. You give me hope—not because victory is certain but precisely because it is not.

There’s a solid case that Australia is in breach of its treaty obligations by continuing to supply the F-35 parts that undoubtedly form a small piece of Israel’s war-making machine, writes Michael Bradley.
Australia sends F-35 jet parts to Israel. Is it legal under international law?
If Australia is breaching its treaty obligations, that only raises an issue of enforceable illegality if those obligations have been made part of our domestic law. Mostly, they haven’t.

This opportunistic drivel is low, even for News Corp.

Evoking the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to criticise pro-Gaza protests trivialises both the unique horror of nuclear warfare, and the escalating atrocity of Israel's war of retribution on the Palestinian people.

A bit perplexed at the headlines about today’s #marchforhumanity saying “perilous” and “police feared the worst”. Surely the story is that, in spite of police fears, the march was peaceful, demonstrators full of goodwill and happily cooperated with police instructions to manage the huge turnout.

Every word of this.

It's the latter. I've explained to Ken in person and in writing (like others I'm sure) that relying on ACCUs/credits to fund conservation is a zero sum game. But I'm not a former Treasury chief with a deep voice, so what do I know about biodiversity science. ENGOs need to question their support imo
