Definitely understand people feeling cynical over the future of pikmin. Even 3 lost some people, and 4 lost a lot more with some gameplay decisions. It’s been going in this direction for a while, but I still do prefer the post apocalyptic feel over co-existing with humans. Just the end of an era ig.

So how did Namco end up making the arcade look worse when you use fidelity mode than performance in re-pac 2. It looks improperly scaled on fidelity (image 1), but even performance (image 2) still looks poor. This might look worse than it did on world 1 re-pac on switch. (From switch 2 version.)

Forgot how nice the gba Klonoa games movement was. Feels great seeing them at 1440p and without Wii U’s dark filter, the pixel art ages phenomenally in these games.

What a crazy day, Kirby air riders looks amazing, pac-man world 2 re-pac and sonic racing crossworlds collab, even a new open world Lego Batman after 2??? Genuinely insane, I’m so happy right now man.

Gonna call this, Nintendo isn’t gonna do ANYTHING for Mario’s 40th anniversary. Why would they when they’re focusing on their new console launch, had a bunch of Mario stuff the last two years, and probably working on the next 3d game anyway? Could release a new 3d Mario but not anniversary related.

I can’t help but feel bittersweet about that katamari announcement. It happening is great, but there’s been a ton of katamari recently. I’ll say been playing okami recently (don’t spoil me btw) and I can definitely see the hype a lot of people have for the game. Lovely art style, great music, a good balance between being funny and proper story focus, just really enjoying it atm, and I’m still fairly early too I think.
