Yeah the problem with brothership is you gotta get in like 10 hours before the game really starts to get good, though I think the problem is less tutorials and moreso longlasting early game slowness. Unfortunate it held the game back cause the game has a lot of good to offer, especially the endgame.

Galaxy 1+2 had that too, but at least that somewhat made sense cause it was a switch 1 game.

Ngl though, opinion of galaxy 2 went down again to a 7/10. The level design is too linear and uninteresting compared to 1, and it just does a lot of things that galaxy 1 already did better. New storybook for 2 is peak though.

Even only a year after the year of shadow, I feel that spotlight hog effect on shadow from how they’re using him, so I can imagine that much in 4 years would definitely be annoying. And I fairly like how he’s being written currently, so I can definitely see your perspective from someone who didn’t.

I’d say the geometry differences are all positive, it’s just lighting and color differences that are much more subjective. It looks generally good on its own, but when you compare some look better in the original and others in prs. Volkan inferno took the biggest hit though by far.
