“Nearly half” also only applies to voters. Trust me when I say: the non-voters were pulling for Mamdani. My 4yo is his strongest soldier.
"nearly half" is a really funny way to describe losing an election lol

There’s a real compare/contrast article to be written about the Kenny Atkinson high screen & roll vs Jordi’s high hub offensive sets. Not so much bc they’re related in any meaningful way, but bc it’d be catnip for the likes of me.

Please listen to the Bleav in Nets podcast, through the first 10:42. Please. I’m begging us all. I pray we all have the same ads. Do this for me.

I’m watching a 90’s Columbo, and…well? Feeling some kinda way about Faye Dunaway here. Just…a dime. In her 50’s.

The Nets are playing GSW tomorrow night on a B2B. This feels…like we are facing a LOT of tired teams lately?
Warriors @ Raptors going into OT wasn’t on my BINGO card but here we are…

In the spirit of Christmas, I thought I would rank the wishlist of major trade candidates that have been linked to the Raptors in some fashion.

Frankly, I am not convinced that any of these are amazing ideas long term, but here we go...

This whole thread is good. @alexincommunity.bsky.social a nice thing about your Nets list is getting to hear other fan bases talk about what they think of our tradable players.
Acquiring AD offers far more paths to ruin than paths to contention. He doesn't line up with the age group of the current core, shortens their windows considerably, and is always hurt.

HARD pass

Really, really interested to see what coverage we play against Steph tomorrow night. What is our initial plan, what are our back up plans? “Jitterbug PG” is an archetype that could burn the Nets, despite all the defensive length. #NetsWorld

I missed much of the meat of the game, but what I had sorta thought, that Cam would be “MPJ-lite” running over screens and not pounding the air out of the ball, didn’t seem to be the case. Offense definitely changed with him back.

@alexincommunity.bsky.social wanna give a shout out to Alex’s Nets list: it’s a nice way to get a window into opposing team’s bases. Nobody in the Wolves orbit was clued into what we’ve been doing (which is a shame bc they should want MPJ!)

@lucaskaplan.bsky.social has the ND recap. Always worth a read.

There appear to be several times the Wolves fan vis a vis Nets fans talking about this game rn…and as disgusted as they are, I am equally pleased! The kids are alright (and the Minn fans like most have not got the memo on these Nets).

Pardon the racist mascot but the Nets are engaged in doing a Major League right now:

4:39 in the 4th - Egor stops Ant from making an easy breakaway layup. @lucaskaplan.bsky.social just for your notes lol.

I can’t watch the Nets for whatever collective reasons Gotham or League Pass have while I am in Pennsylvania but…looks like the Wolves took the “it’s ok to half ass it vs the Nets” approach and are learning that it doesn’t work…
December 28, 2025 at 2:09 AM
Dunno if Kirk Goldsberry is on here, but just look at the Nets! The change in defensive intensity is real. Don’t come at us halfassed.

I'm ready to be the type of Democrat the Democratic Party has needed this entire time. The type of Democrat who will fight Trump’s authoritarianism by showing up, not with strongly worded letters.

The type of Democrat who will fight, not fold.

So, non-basketball-specific topic for the Nets fans out there: rebrand? I dunno about anybody else, but the black and white theme is tired as heck to me. I don’t even know what I’d prefer (ABA/NJ colors?) but I’d be interested in some chromatic changes.

Fascinating. I wonder how this will go. The ideal here is he leads a Tank Commander situation and nets us literally anything in trade. Most to be avoided: ruining the vibes.
Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas will make his return tomorrow night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, coach Jordi Fernandez says. Thomas, who’s missed the past 20 games, has averaged 21.4 points in eight games played this season.

Are any of our new Japanese users Brooklyn Nets fans, and if so, do they wanna be my friend?

As a Nets fan, when do I start praying on the Nuggets downfall? 2030?
Denver's Cam Johnson will be reevaluated in 4 to 6 weeks with his right knee injury, sources tell ESPN. The Nuggets are now down three starters: Johnson, Aaron Gordon (hamstring) and Christian Braun (ankle).

Kind of weird that there are numerous health care policy experts on here but I only ever see Mark arguing with random socialists on posts. Host a frigging conference or something man
I'm here willing to read anything someone puts together that details how we can get from here to there

I'm all for universal healthcare. Tell me how we get there.
