#OtD 29 Nov 1947 the UN passed resolution 181 recommending partition of Palestine into Jewish and Arab states. Approved by the US, USSR and others, it gave 56% of land to the Jewish state despite Jews being only 32% of the population. More in our podcast: workingclasshistory.com/podcast/e86-...

Hey Friends, this week in Minneapolis there were two shootings at homeless encampments, making it even harder for our neighbors. Sanctuary Supply Depot is raising money to help bring a little more comfort and care. If you have a few dollars to spare (they're only trying for $300!), info below:
We have our big weekly event tomorrow where people come get showers, hot food, groceries, harm reduction, clothes, camping supplies, and consult with resource navigators - who can help get some extra snacks for people who have been too traumatized this week?
