Women make half as many trips by bike as men, and are more likely to be put off cycling by a fear of busy traffic.
Ride starts 7pm outside City Hall.
Bring your bike, make it bright!

Road deaths in Essex are out of control. Leaders at ECC and @essexpoliceuk.bsky.social must do more including reducing speed limits, increasing enforcement and acting effectively against careless and dangerous drivers.

We will be reviewing the new planning application for St Botolph's Quarter. Our concern is that this plan and the masterplan that preceded it do not address the need for people to be able to cycle north from St Botoph's to the castle and High Street.

This dangerous close pass was on Argents Lane where a cyclist was killed in a road collision one year ago. When reported to @essexpoliceuk.bsky.social the result was a warning letter. Essex Police are not serious about Vision Zero and protecting cyclists.
