Few cautions, a few long runs, and racing under the lights with 20+ throwback cars but it's EDWIN MENDEZ becoming the 11th winner in 13 races so far this season in the Throwback 200 at North Wilkesboro!!!

Throwback night was great. Thank you to all of my fellow @varcracing.com drivers for taking part. The field looked awesome.
Unfortunately my race was not as awesome. Got caught up in a wreck on lap 4 and it wasn’t bad until some drivers had a complete lack of awareness and I got killed.

If you run in cort and saw my race (all .25 miles of it) no you didn’t. Stupid mistake. Bad driving. Been running the arca car too much. Gen 4 + cold tires = slippery, as it turns out.

Bombed qualifying, wasn’t too worried it’s a long race. Drove up to the front and was fighting for the lead, was about the 3rd fastest car or so. Would’ve finished higher but I made some strategy mistakes and lost track position. Not great, not bad.

I can’t say I blame him at all. I am a huge Larson fan and I honestly feel awful for him. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a difficult championship loss before.
