Started learning Japanese recently. Am learning Japanese through a textbook in Chinese, which lists the pitch accent of every individual vocabulary word. Absolutely bonkers to me how western/English-language Japanese textbooks (and learners in general) just completely gloss over this.

When stuff like this comes up, which it continues to do, I think back to an auction of West Bank Palestinian land held at a Los Angeles synagogue and despite protesters being very specific about their message everyone from mayor Bass to Biden were on tv calling those protesters antisemitic.

The increase in Game Pass pricing will cause significantly more western "leftists" to cancel their subscriptions than the murder of >400,000 people (and counting).
Microsoft (which is helping Israel incinerate children) owns so many game publishers. BDS has called for a boycott of them, but sadly western gamers seem to not give nearly as much of a shit about this as they did about boycotting Hogwarts Legacy. Three guesses as to why that is.
