It’s really not…
Giving the Nazis days of nation-wide headline media coverage every time they do a ten minute photo op is not a good way to get them to stop doing photo ops.

America is the most embarrassing nation on earth.

You voted for this.
Trump: Since 1978 the Kennedy Center honors have been amongst the most prestigious awards. I wanted one, never able to get one. I would have taken it. I waited and waited and waited and I said to hell with it, I'll become chairman. I will give myself an honor. Next year we'll honor trump, okay?

The Job-Ready Graduates scheme needs to go. I’ve been pushing hard for this reform since I was elected to Parliament and I won’t be stopping anytime soon.

Why Labor is stalling on real universities funding reform
The education minister has deferred action to abolish the Morrison-era Job-ready Graduates scheme, which has helped to hollow out tertiary funding and saddled students with lifelong debts.

It is deeply unfair in the fourth year of the Albanese Govt for students to still be wracking up eye watering debt under a system we know - and they recognise - has failed.

Reforming JRG is urgent - time to take it out of the too hard basket.

I’ve been calling on the Govt to get rid of JRG for the last three years. This reform is urgent and will deal with the root cause of ballooning HECS debts - it makes no sense to kick it down the road while talking about cutting 20% or HECS.

Legislation to remove the ‘Job Ready’ fee structure should be a priority for this parliament. Young people should not be burdened with debt because of the course they choose. Future Australia needs all of them.

100% agree with @astoundingmatt.bsky.social no one should be profiting from the care of children or the elderly.
Child care and aged care should not be privately run for profit. Community run organisations should be the norm. And what is the point of a royal commission, if its recommendations aren’t implemented with oversight from the government?

The great Aussie gas giveaway is set to continue under Labor 🤯🫠

This is a total scam - we haven’t received a cent of PRRT for offshore LNG exports & the weak changes Govt made last term aren’t fixing it.

Parliament needs to fix the PRRT.
