Update on the 5E3.  I thought all was well, but was wrong. Should have documented everything, but during the time thought it might never be right.

In the end, I prevailed...long story in thread.

And as I often do, I failed to keep up with posts on a social media platform; didn't even make it though my about me posts. So quick one here today at lunch, HAM Radio. I started out to get my license for communication and possible emergency response while traveling in the backcountry.

Another interest I forgot, well basically it has changed much over the years. Retro gaming handhelds. Starting with a modded PSP, I then became a part of the GP2X community and created a MPD client for the device, later porting it to the Pandora.

It's alive!

I'm not sure what do expect, so I don't know whether to be excited or disappointed, but it makes sound after a few snafus.

So tonight let's talk Tetris. I loved NES Tetris growing up. I was decent, only tracked lines, not score. Best was north of 150...don't really remember. I'm so bad now. I bought a Switch for Zelda, but was introduced to modern Tetris via Tetris 99. I wanted to love it, but it was hard to adjust.

Have a bit more work on my 5e3 Tweed Deluxe build as of now. Bit more soldering including the valve sockets.

Guitar cont. - Amplification

So after getting my Les Paul, I originally planned to just run amp modeling via Cakewalk. It's free now, so I bought a good budget set of studio monitors and a Behringer audio interface. It worked pretty nicely, but I had the bug for something real, if inexpensive...

I think I'll go out of order on my "about me" list and talk a little bit about gaming. Expect this to be a multi-parter.

We'll go PC gaming first. From a 486 SX/33 w 4MB of RAM to current 10850 and 3080. I've gamed on the PC for quite a while.

So, I guess I will do more details per day also...for the algorithm.

Guitars:
Alvarez Acoustic since the 90s. Decent sounding/playing guitar for 200$ back then. Learned the basics and never really progressed. Imagine 90s church praise band, that was the vibe...things have changed since then.
