Seriously awful and very well reported. If you’re a woman with the option to go through pregnancy (or even childbearing years) inside or outside of TX, you may want to consider this—your chances of dying really go up significantly there until this law is changed.

The DOGE firings have nothing to do with “efficiency” or “cutting waste.” They’re a direct push to weaken federal agencies perceived as liberal. This was evident from the start, and now the data confirms it: targeted agencies overwhelmingly those seen as more left-leaning. 🧵⬇️

Given the obvious incompetency and the inability of many Trump‘s appointees to provide thoughtful, coherent, or honest answers to many questions, & the data disruptions happening across the federal government, I’m more than a little bit concerned about risks from external forces, not just internal.
