We bump into this all the time. DC has stories that are 4-24 issues long all throughout their history. Everything we want to cover from Marvel ends up being a 78 issue to-do.
I think the interesting thing here is unlike DC, I don’t think marvel has nearly as many short and complete stories that work for these compact editions. Which feels ironic to say about a publisher that currently thinks counting to “12” is ambitious but—it hasn’t always been that way

Really fun to see how much of Will Eisner's Dropsy Avenue is in how Frank draws buildings and people. A lot is made of his Manga influence in the 80s, but not enough about the influence of his mentor Will Eisner! Look at those bricks! That rain!
